Emblem blackout kit part number

Does anyone have the part number for the blackout kit for a 2016 SR5? The part number that I found is

$64 PT948-89180-02 Genuine Toyota Parts - Emblem Black 4Runner (PT948-89180-02)

PT948-89180-02 but the sites say that it only fits 2018 and up.

 

I don't think there is anything special about the 2016 that would stop the use of the above part number. I think the issue is that the blackout part(s) didn't become available until 2018 .. so the part number reflects that.
The aftermarket solutions all seem to confirm fitment for all the years, so this sort of supports my theory.
