Email notification on the fritz ?

Checked my settings and nothing's changed other than no notifications are being sent.

Anyone else?

You're not the only one... I get some of them, I don't get others. I think something may be indeed "timing out" somewhere.

I think @brownersd is on to something. It seems to quit sending notifications if you don't check them.

Sometimes I'll click on "watched threads" and see that there are new posts I missed.

 

Don't know what's going on other than I used to get them and as of today.......nothing. Zip, zero, nada. Oil well....

 

Weird. Maybe check with one of the staff and they can figure it out.

Could be. Did you check to see if maybe your Email is putting them in a spam folder?

 

I did.....and it's not account specific because other mail is coming through as normal. Since I've checked and double checked my settings(sometimes they change on their own)and found all to be hunky dory......I'm at a loss.

 

Hmm.. I got nothin'. Hopefully a temporary glitch.

 

As a Director of IT myself, I think what may be happening is email server space may be at quota, or over. Maybe a decision was made to eliminate the email notifications in lieu of purchasing more space. I can only suspect.

For anyone interested, my email notifications are working fine. I got several today.

I can't find anywhere that makes sense to ask this question so...How can I turn off email notifications? I don't want an email every time a thread I have replied to is replied to. I don't even care if I'm the one replied to. My inbox is filling up every day and it's just a pita. Thanks in advance for the help.
