I am looking to do a DRL ANYTIME mod, but am having a hard time finding a wiring harness. I do NOT want to tap into the factory wiring for this. I am looking for it to be completely separate from the factory wiring and controls, EXCEPT for using the factory DRL housing.

    i have a 2023 4runner, SR5.

it has the "fangs", LED fogs
it also has SINGLE bulb for the low AND high beam. LEDS
My DRL's are halogen and are on the 'inside" of the head light housing, in it's own REFLECTOR.

Again, What I am looking to do:
I want to have my DRL's be ANYTIME. I am not trying to use the DRL controller on the the stick. I have been looking for a wire harness that will plug into the 9005 bulbs and run to their own aftermarket (but factory looking) button that ASPIREAUTOACCESSORIES has. Again, I am not looking to tap into factory wiring I am looking for a wire harness that I run separately from the factory housing to a switch in the cab.

My thinking is, i have a "light housing" already, the factory DRL's, so why add a NEW light fixture, like behind the grill. Just remove the bulb from the factory wiring, and run new wires, powered from the battery (fused) to a new switch that i can install into the blank spots on the dash. The reason is both "looks" and theft.

I want to run the VLEDS duel color (6K and 3K in the same led bulb) in the stock DRL housing, instead of buying a whole light bar or pods. This way i can turn them on as needed along with my head lights or even high beams.

I live in an area with a lot of deer and a lot of the back roads are dark as can be, with no lighting (but a hint of a banjo playing in the back ground), and we get a lot of dense fog (hence the 3K light).

I have looked, and read forum after forum, and even asked VLEDS, DIODE DYNAMICS, and APSIRE if they have a premade wire harness, that is, just a wire harness that can plug in the back of a DASH factory switch, that can plug into a 9005 bulb. Again, I am not looking to use the factory wiring, or tapping into the factory wiring to "by-pass" the auto-off when turning on the headlights. I am shooting for a completely un-connected lighting unit, except for using the factory housing.

Does anyone know if this harness exists?

Before you start down the process, do we know if the DRL reflector with LED bulb produces useful beam pattern for your purpose? I don't recall if anyone ever confirmed if the reflectors in the 21+ bi-LED DRL lights are the same as the previous 9005 high halogen beam reflectors.

the DRL's are not leds....they are factory halogen.

i will be putting LEDs in them, but currently they are FACTORY HALOGEN.

i just need the wire harness, with the 9005 ends, the fuse, and relay, and I will connect it to the battery and the to an OEM STYLE switch in the cab.

I'm not disputing anything you said. I asked if the halogen reflector with LED bulbs installed will provide a usable beam.

    oh okay....

the reflectors will be perfect...... not quite a true driving light, just a little wider, which is what i am lookng for.... will help with deer when needed..and then with the 3k it will eat through the dence fog.

we get that here were your can be down to 40 to 50 feet.

I would imagine one could just unplug the existing 9005 plugs, use zip lock bags and rubber bands to seal them against weather, and run any 9005 relay wiring kit like linked above to a dash blank button. On SR5 and OR models the DRL is only activated by one setting on the left stalk so as long as you are not set to that setting I can't see how the system would even detect a fault.

I've always been very disappointed on most post 2021 models Toyota neutered the 9005 reflectors when they could have been some bitching high beams instead of the meh high beam on the Bi-LEDs. The few trims around 2021 that had LED low and halogen high have the best of both worlds

WELL..... what you suggested is exactly what i am trying to do....
as for the the linked wiring kit.... i am a little wary of it. First question they do not answer is if the lights will be in series or parallel. This matters because it will drop the voltage in half, making the lights dimmer. And since they they have a 24 volt relay.... that makes me wonder.

I also did not like the 7.2 foot leads .... they are 2 leads off the relay, but they BOTH are 7.2 .... so one will reach the passenger side while the other has a mile of wire to deal with.

I also did not want the ROCKER SWITCH, i want the push button OEM STYLE like the ones ASPREAUTOACCESSORIES has. And I know those will fit with no problem. The ones on Amazon.... who knows, could be a touch smaller or larger. So there is that too.

And i see no reason to frankenstining this together from 2, 3 or more places to get all the parts correct, when someone either knows of a place that make the harness already specifically for the 4runners, OR makes these for people when they want them.

So, there are the reasons why i did get the ones from amazon.
