    Can anyone confirm if a 285-70-17 fits on factory spare wheel in the factory spare location under the trunk?

    It absolutely does. I stuffed a 33x12.50r17 MT under mine. That shop doesn't know what they are talking about. IMG_1025.jpg

    Kind of sad right? I’m going to ask them to mount a 285-70-17 on the spare and stick it under the car.

    @cmbronc76

    What all do you have done in order to fit those tires? I assume, at lease BMC and lift, but what else?

    Not at all. I have a mount to put my spare on top of my Baja Rack and after a fit check...my rig wouldn't fit it my parking garage. It measured 7'7"s or so. Being i used a tape measure and being by myself, I wasn't 100% accurate. So until i can afford a rear bumper with a carrier, this is my only option. Better to have the full size spare than not.

    Yep, stock wheel with a 285/70/R17 BFG AT KO2. It fits fine.

    If I was you, I'd go else where to get the rubber mounted on the rim, and in the spare location, THEN drive back to the original shop, and show em.... just cuz I'm a dink like that...

    No BMC, fender mod or wheel spacers. Just Bilsteins 6112's, 1/2 inch spacer, Dobby 329's in the back with 5160's in the rear and SPC UCA's. I have 4 inches in the front and 4.5 inches in the rear. Only a little rubbing in full lockreversing to the right. BMC will be done eventually because my next tires are going to 305/70r17's

    Nice! I was at a little over 4" in the front at one point, but I got scared of damaging the CVJ's at a all too regular interval. I'm at 3.5 right now in the front. I am going to do the BMC when I can get around to doing it, and cutting the front bumper and liner more doesn't scare me. I may give them a shot. Also, what is your caster set at?

    Nice. I have to get in my glove box and find my alignment. I know the reason I went with the SPC over Total Chaos, JBA, Icon UCA's is not because they are better because we all know that's not true. I wanted more adjust-ability because the caster and camber. I am pretty sure I'm around 3.0 to 3.5. After first having a stupid 3"and 2" RevTech lift and having to get an alignment every year, The UCA's were the best purchase I have made. Just have to grease them every 5K. Have my own gun...5 mins of my time. I would rather have your set up but damn child support is killing me for a few more year lol.

    Thanks a lot! Put a lot of thought into it. I am not the guy that just can throw all kinds of money at will. Planning, budgeting and saving. Not too bad for a non premium SR5 4wd.

    Love the build - I just ordered the Slimline and will be doing a 2.5" lift and moving up to 285/70/17 BFG AT K02s and will do the Stage 2 mod if I rub on the front liners. If I went to 34's I wouldn't fit in my garage - concerned that I might not with the 285s so will get the lift, bumper and winch on first - my current 265 BFGs need to be replaced next year

    Most garage opening are 7ft. You will be fine with 285’s I would think. I fit all the way into my parking garage(which is 7ft at the lowest) when I had a 3”2” on 33x12.50’s. Thank you for you kind comments. Getting the sliders welded up and put on today! Been waiting for 6months with the kit in my storage. Pics to come later!

    Do you mind me asking what ladder you went with? Looked at a few and they all seem too boxy, I like the shape that you have!
