    Happy Holidays to all!
Fairly new here, apologies if I’m creating an unnecessary new thread (my search didn’t yield great results).

I need some help with ditch light brackets. I ordered a set of Cali Raised low profile brackets for my 2023 SR5, but they hit my windshield cowling on both sides and cause a slight raise to my hood.

    IMG_1898.jpg
I reached out to CR, and one of their product engineers indicated the brackets I received appeared to be under bent. They sent a replacement set, but measurements were no different and they were clearly a used set-scratched and dinged. No further comms as of yet.

Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t really want to start trimming the plastic cowling, and a lot of the other brands appear to also be “low profile”.

    Recommendations/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Get the 19$ ones on Amazon. They worked perfectly for me. Some of these companies ask way too much for what they are.

Weird. I have the Caliraised low profile brackets and they're perfect. I wonder what the deal is.

Are you sure you bought the 5th gen version?

Looks good, kmeeg…and thanks for rubbing it in like brackets on cowling lol :(

I honestly don’t understand the issue, but based on all my internet sleuthing, I just have to conclude I bought the ONE Runner with cowling measurements right up against tolerances o_O

Show us the picture of how it's installed under the hood.

    Good idea.

@The Ted the way the hood sticks up makes me think you mounted the bracket between the hinge and the hood. Did you?

    Negative.

Issue resolved with a pair of SDHQ brackets, Diode Dynamics SSC2 pods installed, wired to Auxbeam & good to go.
