Today my Runner just quietly died when I was backing up slowly, a very short distance. No dash lights or anything, just noticed the AC was off, then realized it had died. Put it in park, restarted it and pulled to a spot where I could check it. Turned it off, opened the hood, was looking inside, and heard it beep twice. When I got back in I noticed it has reset the display. Clock was still right and all the settings were the same other than the initial display. It started back up fine, everything seems fine. Drove home (40 miles) with no issues. Anyone have any ideas on what might have caused this? It's a 2019 with 66,666 miles on it as of today. Haha \m/

If you were listening to Metal music at the time, it would be hard to figure out why it quit.
But if you were listening to Country music at that time... well everybody's trucks dies in those songs.

    Just kidding of course.

^ This is a good idea.

@metalmelisssa have you had any recent work done to the vehicle? Unusual exposure to water? Rodents chewing on wiring under the hood?
