    WTF?
No offense as we converse on many topics...
I had dealers tell me of how they all lease to keep their payments down.
If you are older or more privileged; you may buy one outright.
I see no results from this question.
Everyone is in a different place in life!
Being in our 30's, not rich or 2nd generation rich. We financed. No shame.
    Sorry if I sound dickish...
I just don't understand why it matters...
For what it is worth: we keep vehicles over 10yrs on average. A lease is useless (especially if you modify).
    My $0.02
    No anger sent or ment!

No offense taken. As for why it matters, it doesn't. Just more random data. Something to pass the time between after market headlights and army green...

Bought outright. At a place and age where I can buy it outright. And I am grateful to be able to do so.4Runner.jpg

Leased. I anticipate needing a Tundra or a 3/4-ton fullsize pickup in a couple of years. Never leased before and I don't think I'll like it.

Im glad to see less people reporting leasing one. I like the question. Says alot about long term faith in the brand.

I considered leasing mine, figuring the payment would be ultra low because the resale value on these things is so fantastic. That wasn't the case. I financed a big chunk of mine, at a great interest rate. Glad I did--within a year I had to replace the HVAC system and the roof on the house, and had some medical expenses, so I'd have been hurting if I took the money out of savings to buy it outright.

You have found out my insidious plot to manipulate the global Japanese car industry and American banking system by carefully gaming the data from a self-selected, 20 person sample size internet poll. Curses! Foiled again!

You're not aligned with a moose or squirrel by any chance are you?

I financed. I have impeccable credit and have paid all my loans back on time and in full. I paid off my Carrier Infinity too, but I know a guy and got the system installed for $8,500. Even got the color, touch-screen, digital thermostat. Love the variable speed. They are actually coming out today to test it for my warranty. Just had a capacitor replaced in one day for free....

These A/C posts make me laugh... I haven't lived in a place with A/C since 92. Most of my cars don't have it either. I forgot how hot and humid the rest of the country can be... we get 2 weeks of 80 or so degrees up here (which is still too damn hot). I turn on an extra fan.

I love the heat! It’s hot (+105) right now. My location is not very humid, but is a lil farther North. You get used to it. Got a nice tan/burn yesterday out on the water my first sun yet. Just had a tropical storm pass yesterday out on the coast... Gonna cool down at 6pm when rain rolls through. Getting ready to bake out in a corn field for dove season opener in a few weeks....

Both my houses have shade. I own huge oak trees, maple trees, pines, and a chestnut, all healthy. Knock-on-wood. So I guess you could say I’m carbon-neutral...but it’s totally different out on or near a big body of water. At sea-level, where there’s always a breeze...

It’s always cooler in the woods at the farm too. The water just perks out of the ground and the vegetation never dies. It’s like an oasis!!!

I would highly recommend Carrier. The warranty is only like 2 hundred a year. I just got 2 pounds of Pureon for free. If a compressor goes out without it’s like 2k!!

Traded in a '14 Tacoma that was paid off when I bought mine. Financed the balance for 36 months. Paid off the loan in 10 months because I was annoyed with making a payment every month.

I traded my prior vehicle straight across for my 2019 Pro. So, technically bought. I also got money back on my extended warranty which covered my TTL, SCS F5s and Xpel PPF.
