My Sirius/XM trial is done, and I have a lot of stations set to my presets. How do I delete them? I know how to change them, but I don't have near enough FM stations to replace them all. Thanks!

It’d be wild if there was a book in your glovebox that had this information. Or even the Toyota app. Or even google.

or, you know, a friendly group of people who own the same car?

I don't think you CAN delete them. You can only re-assign them to something else. (Or reset the whole dang thing to factory settings)

In the menu for the radio (at least for the '19 I have with the non-AA/CP 'dumb' radio) you can delete unwanted presets in groups of 6. So you can have 6, 12, 18, 24, or I think even 30 presets; if you have more than you want find the menu under sound settings and set number of presets to the number you desire.

I would have to believe the newer models are still substantially similar when it comes to the more basic menu functions such as this.

Yeah, I can change the total number to 6, which I've done as a temporary solution. I'd rather just delete them though so I can have somewhere between 6 and 12.

I’ve never been able to figure out how to delete presets either.

And I’ve looked through all of the manuals in the glove box. :(

Jynarik is smarter than you and I, apparently. Maybe he'll find it in his heart to share his wisdom on the topic.

So where is the answer to the question, how do you delete the presets? I read the whole thread you posted, and have not gained any knowledge about how to do it, just info on how others may treat people.

If you had actually read, you’d have seen that you can’t.

I did actually read. But that information was stated here a few times, so your jerky response didn’t provide anything. So again, the only information I learned was how someone may treat others.

Oh and by the way, you can, if you delete all your personal information is my understanding.

Because your jerk posts and know it all attitude, I thought maybe there was an answer in your post. Maybe I could learn something, as I try never to discount others thoughts or ideas.

    Honestly, your
frustrated me, because I have searched the books before and didn’t find the information I was looking for. Was it because I missed it, or is it not there. I would think this is a place to seek answers to questions, not get put down for asking a question, let alone one others also have. But it was old so I was going to move along, then the tone of your response made me feel that a smart ass reply was warranted and my ADHD took over.

How ever, thank you for apologizing for your 2 month old post, but it’s not me you really offended with the old post. I was just asking what info your post added to the conversation. And your response to me is what “offended” me. But at this point I’m done, I wasn’t even looking for this info, I just stumbled on it doing my own research for an upcoming project.

Just as I stumbled upon this

    while looking for this

Well, er, that wasn’t the kind of raptor I was thinking of, but it certainly is a beast.

Did train as an apprentice falconer for a while in my 20's. Training the bird can be done= not so sure about training the truck!

Haha! That wasn’t the kind of raptor I was thinking of either! But training falcons is impressive.

    Hello,

I’m not sure if this thread is still active (april 2023) but hope this helps:

    apps button
    setup
    audio
    number of radio presets

***i started with 18 presets. i ended up with about 8 stations that i cycle through. so i changed my preset count to 12. the empty spaces defaulted to “(add new)”***
