Picked up a scorpion evo (CZ) . Put a SB tactical folding "brace" on her, and a SIG romeo red dot. This is a cheap build. I know it's not a 2k ar build, .. didnt want another one of those. The gun is fun as hell to plink with,.. stupid accurate out of the box. (Havent got the red dont adjusted yet, it's just on her). We went out west to the desert, around 11pm, and sat out there shooting till around 130am. So fun. The gun worked flawlessly. We had just under 900rds between us, and shot em all. Not a single hiccup on cheap as fuck range loads. I have to address the shitty safety leaver. It digs into your thumb, as well as add a faux suppressor, light, and upgrade the mag release,.. all of which are aftermarket available and cheap as fuck. Love it
Sb tactical folding "brace". I like it its perfect for my "shit hit the fan" back pack...

SIG romeo 3 red dot. (LOVE its gray, my fav) and I know it's a cheap optic. But, it's what I wanted.

It might be the funniest gun I've horsed around with. It's so fun.. dig it.

I have a Scorpion Evo 3 pistol as well..

Installed the HBI trigger and it made a huge improvement.

Great gun, flawless and fun to shoot.

Yup. It's a hoot. Fast, accurate, and just flat fun. Works reliable as balls. I got to the range yesterday, and got the dot kinda in. I may be a click or two off on both windage and elevation, but it's pretty damn close. Way to much fun. I think I'll get the better half talked in to goinf out west today to go horse around. Cant get enough of it.
I have looked at trigger tweaks. HbI is top of the list. HBI is where I'm goin to, for the safety selector tweak, (god the OEM one wants to dig into your hand bad) handle upgrade, the rad upgraded MAG release is a must, and maybe the charging lever. Shit is so cheap compared to my last ar build(s) . Love it..

Oh yeah, I changed out the safety selector too for the reasons you stated.. Tired of my booger picker getting beat to hell. =(

Ordered from HBI sunday, late as hell, and was here, at 8am today. Duck bill mag release, left side saftey delete, right side, AK style saftey lever. Pakse handle (clocked straighter than stock). Thing is simple and easy to work on. Took about 45 mins, sitting in my underwear, sippin coffee, watching dan patrick. Done,.. now, i need to read more, and swap out the hand guard for some HBI goodness. They have one, that is shorter, and straight at the tip. Looks rad. But, i need to read more. Anyway, time to go out, and have some fun. Im outta here !....20180919_102920.jpg 20180919_111750.jpg 20180919_111830.jpg

i have the carbine, and its one of my favorites, the trigger definitely needs the HBI swap and the safety select. Great weapon.

I feel you man,. god damn blast, i can not get it outta my hands, shot at a indoor range for almost 2 hours yesterday, and, going out west in 15mins to shot more. So damn fun. And, it just runs, and runs, and runs. I have not had a SINGLE issue, and i shoot dirt ass cheap loads.

Did you do the trigger/spring swap yourself? When i had the trigger assy out, for the saftey swap, i looked at it in there, and kinda had me worried about doing any work in there. Is it easy, or, not hard ??? I did order the HBI FH9 flash hider last night, and the install of that, looks simple enough, but, all the "workings" goin on in that trigger assy, had me trippin some. Maybe im over thinking it?!!?!?

Did snag, and put on a magpul afg (foregrip). Its ok, nothin special. But, it is more comfy that not being there. And, i think it does look cool. And like you say, that stock/oem saftey, HAS to go. And i really like the delete, and the ak style lever. You can verify what state the rig is in, by feel, and with the added length, you have torque for days, and can EASILY swap it to and fro, and zero digging into your paw like the stock one,...its dope. I like it very much. And, all, everything ive done, has been stupid cheap, and easy.

    20180919_152754.jpg

And, putting about 400rds down yesterday, i really really like the new angle of the new grip. Much much gooder. I just wish, there was a removable base i could put over the bottom/hole. There is dead space there, you could kinda use. Id love to put a spare battery for the reflex in there, or something. And, i think itd look better. But, the angle, is tits, not bad for a 15$ grip. Easy install to.

Maybe ill look into that trigger stuff more. It is a damn heavy pull.hhhmmmmmmm

Anyway, im off to the desert !! Stay safe out there all, and have a blast....

I had to medium lock tite the HBI flash hider on. It came loose in two outings. Went out Sunday, after the lock tite, and it stayed put ;)

Yesterday at the range. Think I have the red dot "in" ok. I was struggling with it tbh. But I think I got er figured out meow.

25 yards. Doing the T Rex Arms practice. I put one dead nut on 4, hit both 1s fine, and the one 2. I missed the 2nd 2, low. The hit by my thumb. Then, took a breath and put it in there. Then unloaded rest of mag in 4.
    20181008_181506.jpg

And more in some larger circle. Man, in seriously loosing my sight. I cant see that far. Old dude probs.

    20181008_180440.jpg

It's kinda silly, as I get tired, how they start dropping. Lol. Blind, and a weak ass makes for not being able to hit shit. Clown if you will, but for me, this is pretty ok lol. Having a blast shooting these days. I can't get enough. :)

I also nabbed some steal feed lipped mags. Ive heard the stock mags start to crack. Ive yet to see that, with 1000s of rounds, but, meh......i got the steal ones, with dual clips. Kinda neato.
I got a ton to do, and i wanna be playing black ops4 all night, so ... lets get busy.

They actually work really well. I talked to a buddy (machinest) at work to make me some. But hell, these where cheap as shit. One MAYJOR reason i love this evo. Shits so cheap.

The new, larger charging handle was easy peasy to install. About 1 minute.

The trigger spring assy, gave me problems. Mostly, because my hands dont work well. Year and year of wrench, for work, and play.

Anywho... shes all done, and MY GOD does that spring do the trick. Cuts oem pull rate down to like, half. Its dope.

    what did i get into.....

This thing is a beast when putting rounds down range I am loving this thing. A friend has the carbine with faux suppressor that was a blast but I wanted something just a little shorter to toss in a bag or truck.

God damn blast isnt it? Super accurate right outta the box, i did put a reflex on mine, but, i loved the stock iron sights. Also, every mod ive done to mine, has been cheap as fuuuuuuu. I HIGHLY recommend HB Industries for your goods.

    https://hbindustries.net/store/product-category/cz-scorpion-evo-products/

They are wicked good. Order, and 2 days at most, your swag is sitting in your mail box, all in separate zip lock bags, packaged tits, and so far, everything ive done, fit and installed perfectly, then, functioned as advertised. Super cool. I cant get enough of plinking with this firearm. I love it.

Added some magpul rail panels. I hold high on the upper. With pic rails errrywhere, these are rad. I love the added width it provides also. Looks much gooder imho also.
They go swell with the magpul foregrip also.

Hoooooooooollllyyyyy shit that, looks super dope. I love the straight cut. Getting the barrel nut off proved ok for ya?? I've heard most come off OK .. some, have so much lock tite, they can be imposed to get off. Like, having to use heat/a torch or some hard core shit. Man that looks soooo good man. I like the Mlock on the sides over the picatinny rail. Damn awesome dude, and exactly what I wanna do to mine, OR have 2 lol. Good poop man.

Also, what brace do you have on that? Or is it a actual stock, and you had to get a sbr stamp or some bullshit with it. Also, is it foldable??

So what step required the sbr stamp? Because it was a carbine with a x length barrel that you reduced to a shorter one? But you can buy the pistol and add a "folding arm brace" and technically be good to go? If so, why buy the carbine? Just trying to understand the in's/out's of which to buy.

You, or your young ones playing RD2 yet? Man, everyone of my buddies that have it, are in trouble with their better halfs, due to playing non stop lol.
And, the 12 or 15 people I usually squad up with, in COD black ops4 , are all playing it, and not black ops lol. I struggle to find more than one person that will stop playing rd2 and carry my sad ass lol... anywho,..

Message comin your way lady ;)

My son asked for the game, so I bought him it as a gift because he's been doing good in school, I started playing after I watched him. I was amazed on the graphics and the storyline..

The struggle is real, I can just imagine.. It's a pretty fun game.. Thou I have to get use to the many options that the game has

Really, I dont understand why would the better half be upset. If I had a man, I wouldn't. I would rather have him with that hobby than doing something else. Lol at least I know what's he up to... Haha
