    I have a 2000 3.4 V6 with a Misfire issue.

Originally it started idling rough out of nowhere so I had it scanned & got a P0306 (6th cylinder Misfire) & P0120 (throttle position sensor). Replaced all the spark plugs & wires today, along with the TPS. Still was shifting & idling rough after so I scanned it again & double-checked all the connections. Now the Misfire is no longer in cylinder 6 but now in 1 & 4.

I reset the check engine light & it only flashes when my RPM's are between 250-300 when the vehicle is shifting (automatic engine), then runs fine in between, but still idles rough. Any thoughts on what I should do next? I was thinking coils next or maybe fuel injector? I'm recovering from an emergency surgery so my budget is tight & I'm trying not to throw money where it's not needed, any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

Inspect engine oil for coolant. Check coolant reservoir for oil contamination. Smell exhaust for coolant odor. If all negative your head gasket may be okay.
Look for rodent chewed wiring under hood, or mouse poop and other nesting clues.
If your surgery involved your torso you will need to get a helper to do the bending stretching and leaning. Do not risk tearing internal stitches.

Start with MAF sensor and throttle body cleaning, I know that when I changed my spark plugs and reinstalled the new coil packs I thought they were in but if you really gave the plug a good push it would pop down and click on properly. I'd double check and push them all down extra

Since 1 and 4 are connected I'm certain this could be what it is as you cleared the 6 misfire
