While I know this is a 4runner forum, I'm going to start with talking about a Tacoma, my friends Tacoma off-road to be specific. He's got A LOT of lights to be installed on his truck for getting out into the woods for hunting/camping/Overlanding trips and wanted something a little different than the normal plastic switch plates on the market, also wanted different switches and more circuits than offered in off-the-shelf products. Being that we work together and had some downtime.. we threw our heads together on an ideal position in his truck and a layout for 10 circuits and a display for his GENESIS dual battery Gscreen, then laid it all out on the CNC to cut. After quite a few cuts to get it right, we had something nice enough to fasten into his truck and now begins the design of a fuse/relay box and a wire harness. My question is, would there perhaps be any interest here? Any suggestions on locations? I drive a limited with no real off-road capabilities so I've never thought about where a switch, or switches would be handy. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

The switches have a LED ring around the toggle that lights red indicating the switch is "off", and green when the switch is "on". All that was lost was a factory "cubby hole" storage compartment to the left of the steering wheel

The plate itself is Aluminum, 1/16" thick (plenty thick enough to be sturdy when flipping switches). Hand painted and brushed. Cut and engraved on a CNC router

So, how about adapting/making them for a 4Runner?

Any suggestions where you'd like to see a switch panel? -Again, I drive a limited and have never thought of accessory switches on it. Not to say it's a different layout, just that I've never thought where would be most functional

Finished up the last 3. I think tomorrow I may start looking at one for the cubbyhole at the bottom of the infotainment system on the 4runner
