Hi all - I just finished flushing my coolant system and replacing the radiator, as well as replacing the hoses, gasket and washer on the oil cooler. I now have a coolant leak from an orange plug that connects to the block; it's located just above the oil cooler. I have seen the coolant bubbling out from this plug, so I'm certain it isn't an oil cooler hose issue. See attached pictures.

What is this plug that is leaking coolant?

    Thanks!

It's a block heater! I had to post here to create a lucid moment for me to figure this out myself.

I don't need a block heater, so now the question is how do I remove it and plug the hole in the block?
