Does Toyota make a conversion kit to have headlights come on and off automatically?

If not what is the best recommended aftermarket conversion kit for my 2016 toyota 4runner SR5 premier.

Just leave your lights on, lock your door and they will shut off. No kit needed

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
you have to press the lock button on the fob twice to shut the lights off, at least on my 2016

Thank's everyone for responding with tips.

However, maybe I didn't explain my situation correctly. My 2016 4runner does not have automatic sensor lights you have to manually turn the lights on and off.

I want to convert my manual lights to automatic sensor lights!

They go off instantly if you double lock, otherwise they go off after 30 sec if you just single lock the door.

I'm guessing he means auto headlights like put in auto mode and when it gets dark, they switch from DRL to headlights. My wifes 08 highlander has that. Could possibly get a hodgepodge of Toyota parts from other vehicles (including the steering column headlight stalk) with all of the auto parts. But I don't know of a ready made kit that converts it.

Your right on double lock. Just checked on my 19. Only reason I found out is I left the lights on one day and when I started it up they were on? Beats needing a jump start!

I'm confused on what's being requested.

I leave my lights on auto. They go from DRL to headlights when it gets dark. They turn off after 30 seconds when I lock it. They turn off instantly when I double lock. They turn off after a few minutes when I turn the truck off and leave it unlocked.

How do you make that more automatic?

Only a guess. I'm thinking OP wants the lights on when it gets dark. I had that in a few vehicles and hated it. Going under every overpass in the city and they would turn on. I always disabled it

When it gets dark I take my left hand off the steering wheel, move it six inches to the light stalk, and turn on my headlights. This feature has worked well for me.

In Canada, the Limited 4Runners have the Automatic on-off headlamp feature. Perhaps Toyota has a "plug and play" kit that can be installed on the SR5 and TRD versions?

The original poster hasn't been on the forum since the day he posted his question, a little over four years ago. Additionally, this topic has been dead for the same amount of time, until you bumped it. I highly doubt any of our efforts are going to help him at this point.

Having said that, welcome to the forum!

Yeah, just a troll with 2 posts resurrecting a 4 year old thread.
