Clear coat gone hood, top and lift gate dandruff belly up and offer opinions!

Hopefully this isn't me in 6 years. I try to keep my 4runner clean and well protected but no garage option at the moment. I paid 2500 to have my hood,roof and trunk lid painted a couple years ago on my caprice ppv

 

$2500 back then, $2900 for me today, well nice so I don't feel so bad now.

7-10k is usually the standard to prep and paint any medium sized vehicle. It's basically in all the prep work. There's a reason why macco paint jobs are so cheap. They do very little prep work and even when you pay for the premium job they still get overspray on everything. I'm sure it varies from shop to shop but I'd never let them do anything other than a beater or something that I was just indifferent about
