    In metallic marine blue. Just got it yesterday and it only has 9500 miles on it. Love this thing so far!

    Question for the forum: are after market parts on Amazon (e.g., running boards, cross bars) any good? The price is significantly cheaper on Amazon than through Toyota. Are they just substandard Chinese junk?

    Depends. For big, simple pieces that aren't AliExpress cheap it's probably alright since Toyota accessories are just pricier in general. Like eBay, you're shopping the seller too. (The "legit" stuff is probably made in China too, heck it could be the same factory.)

    (but Amazon likes to swap out the seller and if inventory is co-mingled then you aren't necessarily getting inventory from the seller specifically which adds complexity)

    I have my own Amazon vendetta so I'd look elsewhere but like any massive marketplace YMMV. But if something expensive can be damaged or someone hurt if it fails, probably don't buy from JTOSXUA on Amazon.
