    Oh there are plenty. The issue is, you'd get really extreme responses, probably involving Festool tools, lol

    Yeah, it sounds like the weather stripping isn't sitting flush or something. Does the wood look more rotten in one spot? Or can you see daylight anywhere when the door is closed?

    I ended up using an adjustable threshold for my back door for a similar reason; the door weatherstripping was the older, stiff rubber kind (not flexible like a new door).

    Yeah, you need to do something to prevent rain from reaching the door. Doors aren't made to keep rain out. As others have mentioned, an awning or something.
