We use our 4runner for fly fishing in B.C. and usually toss everything(inflatable boat, motor, gear etc) into the back with the seats down..
I found a Cargo Liner that fits the 4runner perfectly and has flaps on either side to protect the plastic wheel wells as well. It works great with the seats up or down.
I'm not promoting or selling the product, just thought it would be useful information to anybody looking to protect the inside of their truck...
