I just got a c4 lopro bumper and it’s raw metal still. I don’t know whether i should powder coat it or bed liner it, but i don’t like the bumps that bed liner gives it. I heard with powder coating it chips so, Not sure if there is any other options.

i love the look and fit of the c4 bumper but for the same price from Southern style off-road ($996), I might go with them as they powder coat it.

Did you paint or powder coat?

I have been waiting for preloaded coil overs before i install it, I think i may just rattle can it that way i can patch it up if it scratches.

very true. It just sucks they charge the same so much for bare metal compared to SSO. Thx!

C4 has a higher quality product and better fit and finish in my opinion. I looked at both in person and the C4 just looked and felt higher quality. Im sure others will have alternative opinions. Regardless powder coat iIMHO.

I did my sliders and am happy so far. In this post, I have some links of methods and what not. As someone who knew nothing about what I was doing, I got a lot and don’t regret putting in the effort.

I have a Victory loPro and got it powder coated in my local area. 2+ years later there isn’t a chip on it. Looks great! I had the. Do a bit of a satin black and I’m very happy with it even now.

I totally agree about the fit and finish that’s why I’m so torn because it’s hugs the lines on the bumper so much better than the SSO bumpers.

I’m just gonna pull the trigger on the C4

    thx for the input!
