Broken lower control arm bracket

hey all got a 2005 4 runner sr5 awd with a broken lca bracket on the driver side the back bracket were the chamber bolt goes through any ideas were to get a new bracket to weld on

Try some place that specializes in frame and suspension (here in SoCal there is a local place called Bear Frame and Wheel). Not sure if they can source the part for you or fabricate one. Since you’re talking about welding and the frame, unless you’re a competent welder, I’d suggest having a professional do the repair for you (could be a high stress joint that needs to be done right without weakening the frame). thanks for your reply i have a certified welder that can weld it on if i could find the part,called bear got anser recording closed for virus

Maybe call around to some junk yards if they are open. Might be possible for them to cut an old one off for you.

 

There’s a show on Discovery Channel called “Diesel Brothers”. It’s built around an outfit in Woods Cross, UT called Sparks Motors. These guys rebuild and modify trucks and fabricate incredible suspension systems from scratch. Not sure if they would fabricate a bracket for you, but they might know of someone who would or know where you might buy one.
