Had started casually looking for a new 4Runner, with the intention of buying one later this winter or next spring.
Then today, my local dealer got in on trade a 2024 TRD Off Road Premium with the XP Package (A southeastern Toyota port installed suite of Pro grille, wheels, nitto grappler upgrades, blackout badges and predator steps.) The first owner had it for a year and put 580 miles on it. It rolled over 600 on my way home with it.
Excited to be back at home in a 4Runner.

    How much was it out-the-door?

We purchased a similar CPO 2024 TRD Offroad Premium with a few extras for just under $53K out-the-door (SoCal, close to 9% sales tax). Had just under 10K miles.

Congratulations. My dealer called me other day asking if I want to trade-in mine. It was a challange to stay polite, I blurted something about "It is now worth more than MSRP I paid, there is no way you'd offer that to me" and hanged up.

It's been wild to me while I've been looking the last few weeks to see Pros that are four or five years old still going for more than their original MSRP!

Im gonna feel a little guilty putting miles on it! No clue why the first owner let it collect dust.

One man's modus ponens is another man's modus tollens

Take it as a win! It is now yours and you should do whatever you want with it.

Maybe it was not a daily driver and since they ended up not using it as much as they thought they would they decided to sell it?
I have put 30k miles in the first 3 years of owning mine and since it is not my daily drive anymore I have put less than 1k miles in the past 6 months (now I almost only use it to go to the lake, camping, or off roading)

PS: no, I dont plan on selling mine. It is not a daily driver anymore by design :D
