Hey I'm currently making some custom upper and lower control arms for a 3rd gen 4runner or 1st gen Tacoma for a project of mine, I'm planning on using some aftermarket poly bushings for the control arms that are intended for OEM replacement. In doing so, I need to figure out the Bore diameter of the upper and lower control arms that those bushings go into. Does anybody know these measurements?

Welcome from Wisconsin! Do you have the bushings already? Measure the outer diameter of the bushings and make sure they fit correctly, this may include boring and or reaming of the control arm bore, maybe not. I understand the wanting to fabricate something, but wouldn't it be easier to get pieces that are made already? You still have a fab job ahead of you installing. Post some pics when you get done.

I have gotten measurements from some manufacturers for what the bushing measurements are but I still need the correct bore that they are intended to press fit into. Unfortunately I don't have availability to make those measurements on my own at the moment. Just measuring the bushing themselves wont give the exact tolerances I'm looking for.
