None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
And that's why I carry a winter emergency kit in my truck. Food, extra "copies" of warm clothing, a tent, space blankets, etc. I can just grab the strap (it's an ALICE pack, and there's straps all over it) and, as the article says,, RUN.

So many of this sort of accident are directly caused by either overconfidence (Awww, this aint nothing, I can handle this!), ignorance (I was supposed to slow down? But then I'd be late!), or just plain stupidity (.....). People texting while driving, not watching the conditions, and so forth, are in there, too. I won't even touch on drink-driving, as the Brits say.

I'm sorry for the innocent people that got hurt, and/or lost their vehicles. As for overconfident, stupid, or drunk, tough toenails. You did it to yourself.

    Take care, all!

This was right up rt81 from me.... 3rd one to happen this year. Everyone fucking flies at that section of 81, including trucks. My phone was going off all day for alert weather warnings. I guess noone else got the message

I see that the dumb azz driving has progressed since the pandemic...I might be only one of a handful of folks that come to a complete stop BEHIND the white line at a stop sign.

Every first snow of the year in Colorado I remember driving 40 miles an hour in the right lane of I-25 and then some jackass is blasting 85 miles an hour in the left lane.

Yeah, I grew up in the Bay Area. First rain had the idiots sliding in the oil the water lifted out of the road surface. I'd avoid driving at all costs, which made my parents very happy, since I drove their vehicles until I left home permanently.

    Have fun, all!
