So I'm back in a 5th generation 4Runner after a brief stint with a 2016 Trail back in 2015 & 2016. Loved the 4Runner but decided to trade it on a whim for a GX470. Been through a few other vehicles since then and ended up back in my 2003 Tacoma as my daily for the last year or so. A couple weeks ago when the ice storm hit Texas, I rolled my Tacoma on the way to work one morning. After a little back and forth on whether to fix the truck or buy something new (and learning that the GMC Denali I wanted wouldn't fit in my tiny driveway), I got a line on this 2017 TRD Offroad Premium and I jumped on it. Paperwork has been done and signed for about a week now but I still have a few more days before I'll be able to take delivery of it. I'm excited to make it mine and build what's left to build of it. Probably won't be getting a lot more hardcore than it already is anytime soon but this thread will be a collection of the small changes and updates I make to it as well as a maintenance and trip log.

    Specs:
    2017 4Runner TRD OffRoad Premium
    37,xxx miles

    Powertrain and Electrical:
    Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Pedal Commander (ordering after delivery of truck)
    Odyssey 34-PC1500t Second Battery

    Interior:
    Alpine Halo9 iLX-F309
    Midland MXT275 (not installed yet)
Aftermarket speakers and sub (unknown brand at the moment)

    Suspension:
    2.5" King Shocks F&R w/ Resis
    650lb King Coils (Front)
    Dobinson Coils (Rear)
    KDSS

    Wheels and Tires:
TRD Pro Wheels w/ 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers (currently)
Method 305 w/ 285/70/17 Toyo ATIII (as soon as I get it home)

    Exterior:
    SSO Slimline Hybrid Bumper
    SSO High Clearance Wings
    ARB Safari Snorkel
    FrontRunner Slimline Roof Rack
    Warn VR8S Winch

I'm sure the truck has even more items I don't even know about yet and I'm looking forward to having it in my possession so I can fully explore it. I'll be posting pictures and more info on the truck and my plans for it as soon as I can!

I know, I know. But like I said, I don't have it yet! I'll have some up as soon as I take delivery. You'll have to use my avatar as a teaser in the mean time lol

Finally got to pick it up yesterday evening on my way into work! I'll have more pictures and details coming soon (currently working nights) but for now I updated the first post with some more specific information. Think the first order of business is going to be redoing pretty much all of the wiring. Going to rip all the current wiring out and redo it all from scratch. I'll start with the dual battery system, then the winch, and finally accessory wiring. Going to get an order put in for everything I need in the next few days. In the mean time, here's a picture of the Runner with her nearly identical twin owned by the salesman (and good friend of mine) when I picked it up.
