I like the use of a ball joint (personally) and it appears from the picture they use rubber bushings.......which is also a plus in my book.

How much are they? What caster spec range can you expect to get out of them?

Got them from The Wheelers off road for Like $543 out the door. did the sign up for newsletter for 10% off.
The OME Upper Control Arm will provide an increase between +2.5 and +3.5 degrees of caster and up to
1.5 degrees of negative camber increase (figures based off an approximate 50mm or 2in lift)

Sorry I don’t have any input on this but I will be watching this thread for I am in the market for a set of UCA’s. Hoping to gain some info and guidance to help in my decision.
for those who enjoy pics (not lifted yet but did just add new shoes)

They sound like a good deal to me. Closest comparison would be Dobinson UCA's which might have thicker tubing (hard to tell from the pics), but the Dobs are also $100 more.

I got mine because I already had the 3” lift and wanted the same hardware all around.

They seem solid. Lots of people like them. Urethane bushings can cause some squeaking if you don't keep them properly lubed (silicone grease works best). Urethane bushing are also stiffer then the stock rubber ones and can potentially be felt in the cab if you're sensitive to it.

There can be some clearance issues with certain wheel and tire combos. Just make sure you know what those are before purchasing.

OME, Dobinsons, and Ironman all offer a similar product with ball joint and oem style rubber bushings. Dobinsons and Ironman have a sealed ball joint, while OME's is greaseable. Dobinsons +3 degrees caster built-in. Ironman +4 degrees.

This is all I could find on OME regarding caster:
"The OME Upper Control Arm will provide an increase between +2.5 and +3.5 degrees of caster and up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber increase (figures based off an approximate 50mm or 2in lift)."

Personally, I would look elsewhere if planning to lift more than 2".

We put on the JBA's, like Jake said, the poly bushings are solid and are going to squeak if you don't use the correct grease (at least they are greaseable) As far as feeling every bump.... front end firmed up, and we do run a 10 ply rated tire, it has some to do with tire pressure. Our Toyota tech. loves them for the adjustability.20201222_095105[704]JBA UCA.jpg

Thanks for that input and apologies to the OP. :sorry: Not tryin to hijack the thread. :threadjacked:

JBA’s are the ones I have had my eyes on just haven’t pulled the trigger on any yet being my lift doesn’t ship till July :turtleride:

Jeff would you be inclined to recommend these?

Dobs were my first choice but cant find them anywhere. Looks like they are backordered till July. Was impatient and heard good things about OME.

I have these OME UCA's and I'm happy with them. Got mine from Summit Racing for just under $600. Had them installed with my Eibach Stage 2 Pro Truck Lift.

    Cheers,

    Sean

Actually, not bad at all. It's a little stiffer than stock, but controlled. Not like the old leafspring system. LOL! It rides more like the TRD Pro, maybe slightly more stiff.

    Cheers,

    Sean

    I do too.

I would look at Dobinsons, Ironman, or these OME UCA's then.

    At least you have options.

These are the first UCAs I've put on a truck/SUV, the install went super easy. The company is real good, as far as questions and answers. I believe the product is good, so I would recommend them. There are lots of other "worthy" UCA's, but these were what we picked. Sorry about the response time.... This work thing keeps getting in the way of fun!

good to see this question answered. Have been wondering this myself being I am currently waiting on my stage 2 to be shipped. As long as it is not too stiff for the wife I’ll be good with it!

Finally had mine out in last week. Going to Oregon again today and so far my ride quality is outstanding. Wife is complaining less and hit 80 on the freeway with no vibrations at all.
