^The tinted square "window" looks like it belongs in the area between the map lights. :notsure:

Did you have any of the dash/center console switches come apart during disassembly?

Yeah, that really looks like the guts of a pushbutton switch. I don't know which one it would be.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

The hazard button! I was staring at the picture thinking what could it be. I even right clicked and did a Google Lens search/Tin Eye search....not much luck. But when you mentioned a switch it clicked. I think it's the hazard button. It looks like the same size dimensions.

I could be wrong though, I usually am on Sunday's.

    There's a good chance that's it.

I don't think it can be what goes between the map lights on an ORP, because the outer lens material of the fixed section is pretty wide and the pushbutton contacts of this switch are too close together for that.

Edit: However, the '21 map lights might be different from the '23.

@Thacrow Hey while you’ve got the dash opened up like that maybe investigate what it would take to remove or modify the DCM. Maybe take a few photos. If you’re feeling brave (and the level of disassembly you’ve done to your dash is a testament to your courage) maybe you could temporarily remove the DCM and take some nice clear close-up photos of all sides of it, with special attention paid to anything that looks like an access cover or SIM card slot, and then post your thoughts in this thread please.
