Hey, Pseudo Sue is a pale ale!

I like a good hefeweizen! I just got a growler of hefeweizen from a brewery in Durand, Wi about a month ago. Good stuff! I love all of the little random breweries that are all over these days.

I live near Portland OR and SW WA. It is brewery heaven here! However, I cannot for the life of me get behind the IPA love. I am not a fan of hoppy beer.

 

Yes! Why does every other microbrewery make like 7 different IPA's??

I like Lager, pale ale, hefeweizen, porter, etc, depending on the season and mood. I do enjoy a good IPA, but it's not my go-to.

 

Not much for porters. But I'll drink the hell out of an Irish Stout!

 

They're the biggest sellers at most microbreweries.

We make tons of variations of Pale Ales, West Coast IPA's, New England IPAs, Double IPA's, Triple IPAs, and Quadruple IPA's (as well as all the other traditional styles). We can't keep the hoppy beers in stock. The other styles tend to hang around a little longer.

 

Yuck. People have terrible taste.

 

I must be ranked high on the bad taste list here based on the fancy beers people post, while I post my busch lights in different settings on different days

 

Here is another fancy beer...not. However, when it is ice cold, like 31 degrees, it is hard to beat when it is 100 degrees outside.

I keep my outdoor beverage fridge @ 33, the lowest it will go. Can turn water bottles into slush when opened. Cold beer is the best beer. My fortune cookie also explained 2022 haha!

 

I know. Lots of peeps hate Coors light or Bud light or any light beers. I happen to like them. Especially on a hot summer day and I'm out in the woods camping.

Brought up a special one from the cellar

 

Sat on the deck last night watching the neighbors set off fireworks. Wife had a glass of Pinot Grigio and I had a pour of Knob Creek Single Barrel 120 Private Selection that was 15 years old. Man was it good.

 

This is a great one!

 

Planning on signing the pledge at some point….just not yet.

Also...it's a 90 degree evening with a nice breeze. Listening to Def Leppard while chillin and grillin. Damn I love summer nights!

Yeah, I have beer snob friends who can't get enough IPA. I can appreciate them in small doses.

But, being a Wisconsinite, I look for a beer that I can drink a few without getting sick of it. Lagers and Ales seem to rule for this.

Sounds like you're living the good life over there! I love having a few drinks and grilling out. I just got patio furniture for my new place and can't wait to put it to use!
