Can't argue with that. As long as I can find a nice Belgian year round, I'm pleased.

I love a classic Belgian or German beer. They really pride themselves on the history and tradition of brewing, which I have a great deal of admiration for.

As much as I love micro-brews, I still consider the old German lagers the perfect beer. They seem to be the perfect balance of everything I like about beer. And, they're good all year! Whereas, some other beers I like are more seasonal.

IPAs I think generally strike the right balance of flavor and strength. That’s why I like them. Just quickly fell out of love with the Hazy ones. Anything else I’m at the point where they just fill me up without enough of the buzz.

those german beers are so tough to beat. Anything I’ve had in Europe has generally tasted so much better than typical American beers. However I’m not sure anything I say matters since the last thing I drank was a $688 dollar bottle of chateau Rothchild which I didn’t like and now I’m drinking this...

Back in the wannabe rockstar days, we would do shots and drink Scotch along with the beer. The people who picked up the recycling at our drummer's house probably wondered WTF was going on!

    :rimshot:

When I was on a cider kick I would have a shot of spiced rum with the more bitter ciders. Was quite good.

Got a Victory Brewing Cloud Walker Hazy Juicy IPA. It's not oppressively bitter as an IPA, and is quite good...

...bad news is that the flavors remind me of summer, and that makes me miss summer, A LOT

For what it's worth, my neighbor buys the Costco brand (is that Kirkland?) beer variety pack when he goes to fill the rest of his fridge, and I have to say I found most of them quite good!

A quiet Saturday night with my 2 friends: vodkas with club soda/a touch of lime and good quality blues.

kirkland only seems to put their brand on decent stuff. I get their bourbon sometimes when I feel like something other than my usual go to of bullet rye.

I remember the early work from home days this year when I was still at home on Fridays. Happy hour came slightly before the end of the workday some days...

    Cheers, everyone!

I'm sipping a 12 year Glenrothes, and chasing it with a New Glarus Fat Squirrel. It's a delicious way to unwind after working 13 stupid hours today.
