Weird coincidence.. This came up yesterday on Tacomaworld.

I have 295/70/17's and can't think of a single complaint. Road noise is definitely there, but not obnoxious. They feel like all terrains on the highway. They grip well on pavement, but obviously not as well as a street tire.

Off-road, aired down they are excellent. I have gone through some soupy mud with them. The only time I got stuck was when I sunk to the frame. Rocks, gravel, dirt, and sand are no problem.

After around 15K miles they are between 16-17 32nds of an inch of tread left, so 80-85% of new tread depth. They still look like new as well.

    Here's a picture from yesterday:

And a picture from last weekend just because: :)

Awesome! Nice rhino’s too, are those the Rumble?

Really good to hear all this feedback, definitely makes me feel more confident in purchasing them. Any chance you ran them in rain or snow yet?

    They look sooo good.:101010:
Wish I can run them. Sadly here in CO i-70 is famous for winter accident and scared to run M/Ts. I really wish tire technology improves and M/Ts get 3PMSF stamp on the rubber. I don't think any A/T would be good on trails as M/Ts like these. (I could be wrong).

    Thank you!

Stadium. 17 × 8.5", 0 offset. I made up my mind as soon as I saw them on Black Rhino's website. I love them!

Yes, a lot actually. In rain they have been fine. I don't recommend them for winter use, though. They're great in fresh, deep snow. But, no good on ice or packed snow. I ran them half of last winter because I was excited about the new wheels, but I won't run them through another winter.

    They're my summer tires. ;)

    :p:p:p
Good to hear about the rain. I’m in Northern California and we’ve been in and out of droughts the last few years. Only snow I see is when I head out to Tahoe, but good to know they won’t be the best.

Btw, what lift are you running? I’m putting on a Westcott lift next week, 2/1.25 and I’m wondering if I can sneak 285/75s? :p

Bilstein 6112 in front at 2.3 or 2.4" setting, and B12 1-1/2" springs in back with 5100's.

285's can fit at stock height. Alignment is the most important factor, in addition to wheel offset. Some trimming of plastic might be necessary, and the "fender liner mod." At 2/1.25 you'll be fine.

I had them in a 295/70/17 and sold them with 10k miles to move up to a 35x17x12.5 and I have 0 complaints. They wear well, do well off-road, and are the best looking MT IMO!
