Any issues with white paint?

    on the tacos, the use a single stage clear coat so even on brand new white tacomas, guys had paint literally chipping off. Is this a different case for the 4runners? I was very suprised that they don't kick down the pro colors like they do with the tacomas

    4R white is single stage

    Mine not chipping but I also don't drive much and not really on highways/freeways.

    Just over 3 years on my SW and no paint issues, that weren’t caused by me, to speak of.

    Just got a 2020 SW. Putting on a ceramic coat this week that I hope will do the trick. Lots of highway miles in my immediate future.

    Going with AvalonKing for the coat. Anyone else use that on a SW?

    I can see on mine on a couple places where it’s darker than the normal paint, making me thing that top layer didn’t settle completely. Not the biggest issue to me as I take mine on trails so scratches are normal, but to some it might be. The paint should last me at least a decade before it needs to be touched though.
