2022 SR5 Premium 4WD. Hey all, when I was doing my engine oil / filter change the other day, and greasing the drive shaft zerk fittings, I noticed something that I hadn’t spotted before.

Am I missing some sort of additional shield under the vehicle- there’s two threaded bolt holes on two tabs at the rear of the shield that has the access cover for the oil pan drain bolt. Looking further back, I cannot spot any additional bolt holes where bolts might secure the rear of this supposed missing shield.

I bought this puppy back in November, 2023 from our local Toyota dealer- pre-owned / Toyota Certified. But it looks like someone before me didn’t replace a shield?

I guess I’ll have to buy a new shield if there’s supposed to be one on there? Or, alternatively, just don’t worry about it? I’m not doing any off-roading or rock crawling, but still, missing parts bug me.
I suppose next time I drive past my dealer, I could stop in to parts and have them look it up. Hopefully it won’t be $9,999.99.
