Im looking for something to replace my worn OE rear springs on my 19' SR5. I have 6112s up front (1"~) a 5100s in back. Id like something stiffer but w/o any lift so i retain the stock rear ride height.

    Thanks..

Newish oem spring takeoffs show up from time to time on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum if you're open to that.

Find a donor truck. Car-part.com is a good place to look for used 4runner parts.

Dobinsons C59-323 is rated to stock height - 1/2” of lift. Spring rate is 220 lb/in.

Dobinsons have some good options, but keep in mind that the height estimates are based on tje weight of a three-row 4runner. As long as you match it to the weight range plus whatever extra the 3row has, it will be close to the published height estimate.

Reading that 10FJ rears workLooking for aftermarket not OE.
That makes sense b/c i have the 323s, no 3rd row which resulted in more lift than i needed.

I'll 2nd the C59-323 springs which should be really close to no lift or very little. If I understand their website its supposed to be zero to 1/2" lift with these springs which are rated at 220lbs. I think factory coils are 150lbs? Anyway, it also showed for 3rd row seat it would be 5MM lower so based on that it would appear no more than 1/2"? I will be getting these next soon for my 4Runner Trail so can let you know once I have them installed.

@OregonTrail rear factory springs are 180lb/in.

My subjective opinion, the sweet spot for rigs with no added weight is the 200 lb/in range. I have stock springs on my 4R with 5160’s. If I were able to find a stock height spring - 1/2” lift in the 195-200 lb/in range I would swap them out.

I have Dobinsons on my GX with their twin tube, the 220 rides significantly firmer even with a softer linear valved shock.

Wheelers T12 are rated at 200 and would fit the bill, however they lift the rear 1.5”.

Just adding a data point for reference here. My rig regularly carries between 150-200 lbs (over each rear wheel), with up to 250 lbs fully loaded. I'm running the Dobinson C59-327s (271 lb-in rate) and they are a perfect fit for my needs.

Thanks - I had read on another forum maybe that they are supposed to be 150lbs so thanks for the correction. For me I think I should be OK, I tow a lot and run "E" rated tires so a firm ride is OK with me and it will be a good thing when I tow. Unless I missed one which is possible it seems these Dobinsons are the least lift and least lbs + different over OEM?

Yessir. The only option I’m aware of near stock height.

That’s my impression as well. Firmer, but still feels good when it’s loaded up for a trip.

I will add, flat rake or positive rake on the rear end makes a real difference to how those rear springs will feel. In my experience, they feel much softer when you have zero rake. I was very surprised to notice the change in feel.

I'm new to the forum but did try and do a search and can't seem to find that thread. But my question is - is anyone currently running the Dobinsons 59-323 springs on their 4Runner? Any fitment issues?
Not trying to hijack thread but figure this helps the OP as well.
    Thanks

These are the same spring rate as the TRD Pro's came with, so stronger than stock. They'll lift about 1/2" beyond original ride height.

Stock rear springs on a Pro are the same as an ORP & SR5, 180 lbs. the Dobinsons are 220.

Front springs on a Pro are similar to Dobs front spring options. If memory serves me correct Pro front are 600 and other trims are 550.

Stock springs on my 2022 are about 175lbs for rear. Wheelers T13 coils are advertised at 195 lbs which they say are 12% stiffer than stock coils.
