    As far as I know the frame is slightly different on a kdss model.

    You *should* be able to but I have no idea what other installed equipment may need to be adjusted as well. And it’s probably a chore to install, but at least you should be able to find a system taken off a truck at low cost.

    There are brackets welded on the frame front and rear for the kdss sway control cylinders to mount to. Not sure a non-kdss has those brackets.

    Yep. And moving around other installations I’m sure. This is like the “can I add a 3rd row”. Yes, you can, but it’s probably not worth the effort.
