AC oil

    I recently replaced my ac condenser and my accumilater on my 01 4runner now i"m in the process of replacing my compressor , I know I have to replace the PAG oil and i know how much , my question is can I put all the oil in the compressor before installing it ?

    Yes, normally the compressor is serviced with oil before installation. There might / should be a plug in the body of the compressor (not one of the refrigerant connections) that you can remove to verify oil is inside.

    I bought a new Denso compressor for my 2nd gen and it came serviced with the correct amount and type of oil in the compressor. If your compressor is dry, you can pour the correct amount of oil in one of the line fittings and turn the compressor over by hand to distribute the oil inside the compressor.
