Interesting story about a crash east of Cedar City, Utah. A Jeep stopped on the road to speak to some people. A following car didn't stop in time and crashed into the Jeep causing severe damage to both vehicles. The Jeep driver got cited for stopping on the roadway but also got citations for "unlawful" modifications to the Jeep which was lifted and had oversized wheels and tires.
The theory was that because the Jeep was higher than stock, the car that crashed into it went under the back end snapping the Jeep axle and causing more damage to both vehicles than if the crash had just been a stock front end against a stock rear end.

Has anyone ever heard of this sort of thing?
