I’m working on the above engine. I am doing a head gasket repair. My buddy who is helping me has taken the camshafts out but didn’t rotate the gears 180 degrees before taking them out. As when they are at TDC the gear marks are 180 degrees from each other. Now I question if I can put them back in with the marks at 180 degrees. Or will it cause damage? I know it’s a non interference engine but I don’t want the timing to be all out of wack. Please let me know. Thank you!
