I owned 4 plain Jane Toy Pickups starting in about 1989. It had an 8 foot bed which was VERY rare. I saw only one other like it. It had a strange tranny problem. 4 out of 5 times it would not shift out of 1st gear until about 5,000RPM. After the tranny warmed up it was OK after that. I thought for sure one day I would lay the engine or tranny in pieces and parts in the road but nope. Damn that 20R engine was a beast, the next one red also was a short bed also with a 20R. The next one was white had A/C wahooo, I neglected to change the thermostat that was sticking and she cracked the head between valves (how do you spell dumbass?) I can't remember if it had the 20R or the RE. The black one did it got 30MPG. Now I got my first brand new vehicle a 2020 4R SR5 base. Previously I owned two Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlands (fully loaded) with the 5.7L 360HP Hemi and average about 13MPG. Well, with the 4R I dropped 1.7 liters of displacement and 90HP and guess what my mileage is? Yep 13 MPG WTF Toyota If you made it through this tale I applaud you. lol And hello to everyone, Marty

Hi John, Thank you for your service. My eldest brother Pete was 22nd Inf. Div. Vietnam 68-69 He appointed me their official photographer for their 18 month reunions lol And yes the plutocratic oligarchy we current live under will be our downfall. Nice choice of place to live, that would be my choice. I live in central New York snowiest city in America, Syracuse.
