Maybe the 6th gen is to help push the 5th gen up to speed? :)

Nah, the virgin driver in 6th was just shy and didnt want to show off in front of everyone. The 5th gen as you can see is the real deal with sun glasses, 1 hand on the steering wheel and a jacket

Sorry, but you’ve accidentally been routed to the official 4Runner “schadenfreude site”, where Gen5 owners who have not yet discovered one-touch blinkers, have no place to rest a cell phone, and fear new technologies (like fire..) scour the internet for anecdotal issues to use as “proof” that Toyota had lost its way, and Gen6 owners are fools.

Instead, I’d recommend that you try another site called “reality”, where the ‘25 4Runner is actually a huge improvement over the prior generation, is selling well, and will be very reliable.

You can appreciate what’s old school, and still embrace what’s new and improved. The (tongue in cheek) point I’m making from ownership experience, is that it’s ironic to drop a thread on a Gen6 site clearly intended as bait to slap around Gen6 owners, who are actually driving what is the best 4Runner to date.
