Has anyone put the suspension off a 5th gen, trail edition onto a 4th gen? I recently went with a Dobinsons 3" lift on my 2015 and have the stock suspension. My friend just picked up a stock 2006 SR5. Its sitting pretty low, IMO. I was hoping that I could help her out by using my take off suspension. I understand it's possible, with a little modification, to make the shocks fit. Will the springs fit with bo mods? Would there be any amount of lift from this?

5th Gen rear coils will make a 4th Gen lower. Don't now about fronts.

You can change out the lower strut bushings to make them usable in the 4th gen.

If the 4th Gen is a V8, it won't gain hardly any lift since the stock 5th gen parts are for a V6
