    Hello,
    Im leaning towards getting a set of rock sliders and I do not like anything with a step. I was thinking of something like this;

    https://www.chaosfabshop.com/product/toyota-4runner-5g-slim-line-rock-sliders

    A couple of questions...

    Does anyone have these (or similar) installed?
    How close to they "tuck" to the body panels, will the flex into the car when bumped?

    Any pictures would be greatly apricated.

    Thanks-

    Those look like the fit pretty tight to the body.
    Any manufacturer that makes one that is angled with no kick out will be pretty close to the body and un usable as a step except for maybe 2 inches of your toe.

    Check out the toyota "rock rails", they bolt on frame and are tucked under pretty good, will protect your rocker but don't stick out far enough to protect against door dings. Or so I've heard.

    Those are meh, ok. Im not really a fan of the double bar style slider as where I live mud, snow, junk accumulates on there and just makes a mess of getting in and out.

    I also have a KDSS system on my 4r making my selection very limited.

    Any advice would be greatly appricated.

    Hmm, Sounds like the ones you found are the ones you want.
    Hopefully someone else can chime in if they own them.
    I haven't seen any other solid ones like those.

    Those look huge laying off the truck, I like them. I think those, however those mounting plates would hit my KDSS junction box. Id have to modify the heck out of those.
