5th Gen Meso Puddle Lights & TRD Start Button?

New to the 4runner club, but gathered a lot of info on here before I purchased one for my wife a couple weeks ago.

I myself have a 3rd gen tacoma and have done some Meso mods to it. Have any of you done the puddle light upgrade yet? I'm looking for a set to pop up on his site, but they are still out of stock. I have yet to install mine on the tacoma, but the 4R upgrade looks much easier.

Also, for those that have push button start, has anyone pulled the button out or accessed it in anyway? I put a red TRD button out of the Helix in my tacoma and was thinking of doing the same on the 4R.

I want to install an Oem red TRD push start button too. Now that I have a lot of time on my hands, I’ll take a peek perhaps tomorrow.

 

I have the puddle lights. They are very bright and worth the purchase in my opinion. He tends to be quite slower at releasing 5th gen 4Runner products given his primary market has much more Tacoma buyers.

 

Have them as well and very pleased with them.

 

I have them in my Tacoma and like them a lot.

But: Meso site says : 2014-UP Toyota 4Runner MUST HAVE EXISTING LIGHTS IN MIRRORS.

sadly I don’t ..

I have the kit for my tacoma too, just haven't got the guts to do it yet. It's a way more involved install.

You’ll need a mirror housing which already has puddle lights. Then you just replace the oem puddle light parts with meso parts.

lastly, you’ll have to re-wire the mirrors completely and add wires for turn signals and puddle lights as your door harness does not support it.

previously @Old Red had wire adapters for this purpose. Perhaps he has more?
