Very cool. In the Middle East somewhere? I did not realize the 4Runner was sold outside the USA and Canada?

Don't forget Guatemala. I saw very, very few 4Runners in Mexico, but Tacomas seem to be the most popular vehicle there of any brand. But yeah, Guatemala sells 4Runners.

4Runners are not sold in this region correct ,
But we import them from the US (either from insurance write offs or second hand market).

    it’s crazy popular in Oman

We went on a road trip from the Pacific Northwest to Albuquerque and back with a few stops. What a great trip, although we encountered heavy rain in Moab and the surrounding area that did close some of the trails we were looking to run, oh well. Just means a repeat trip! ;)

The Bisti Badlands, northwest New Mexico near Farmington. This is looking into the badlands, but to really see anything, you have to hike in. A surreal area to explore.
    Bisti Badlands.jpg

Another looking the opposite direction while the sun was coming up.
    Bisti Badlands_1.jpg

The next picture is in the Angel Peak Campground, which is a bit closer to Farmington than the Bisti Badlands.

We then travelled to the Moab area, and due to the rains, decided to visit the Needles district of Canyonlands! What a really cool place!

Some great shots! WA to ABQ and back is a trip I do at least twice per year, for family visiting. I try to vary the route a little, but unless you want to add many hundreds of miles, there's really only so much route tweaking you can do.

Just got back from an overland trip from Washington State to Utah State. Had some thunder storms with intense lightning and thunder hit while in the canyons which was pretty intense. I don’t think I have ever heard/felt thunder like that before, the lightning was striking the ground around the rim above me, while the thunder echoed and reverberated through the canyons, scary but pretty awesome. The ensuing flash floods, just filled the washes with a few feet of water, that quickly dropped in flow and height.

After the storms, I did run into one section that sent water up and over my front bumper, about up to my front camera, while driving through what I thought was a puddle. I also ran into one section of road way that required me to bridge a washed out section of road edge (I filled it in with some rocks/boulder/dirt as well). The following day, I did run through some fairly deep and long flooded sections of trail but didn’t have any issues, plus a couple of locals let me follow them through.

My wife had brain surgery in early October and even though the surgery went as well as it could have, her recovery didn't, and she was in the ICU for over a week. Thankfully, she is doing much better now and I was finally able to get out on a weekend adventure for the first time in over a month. It felt great to be back to hiking and exploring the backcountry of the Colorado Plateau again!
