Actually I took the Lexus in this morning and the 4Runner at 3pm.

Lexus...remove wheels and rebalance all tires /Torque them by hand
Toyota..check lug nuts with impact wrench

Lexus...hand wash and vacuum complete car.
    Toyota..clean windshield.

    Lexus ..check all fluid levels
    Toyota..check all fluid levels

    Lexus...offer customer car to drive
    Toyota...nope

Lexus..read all computer codes /history with printout
    Toyota.."Your good to go"

You get what you pay for , I guess.:duel:

I was surprised. I've always been told Toyota has the best service. But being fair they both have lifetime warranties.

I find it odd that a Toyota can easily cost more than a Lexus. They are the same company. Why would the routine be any different? :crapstorm:
I understand a Yaris isn't a Lexus LFA but that is a drastic comparison & an LFA should be white gloved the entire process!

Toyota for sure does not have the best service. Not saying they suck but compared to the luxury brands its no where near.

Lexus is $63k Toyota is $41k. That's what I meant by saying you get what you pay for.

Genesis will drive to your house, pick your car up and leave you with a loaner every time.

    How's that for service?

But who really wanna own a “pretend to be a Mercedes”-vehicle?
Not saying a Mercedes would be the real deal, I think that’s not the case for most of there models since early 90’ but the design copy is really ugly

No argument here. I agree they are ugly.

Still fantastic service though. A lot of car companies could learn a thing or two from this.

Who wants to go to the dealership anyways?

Instead, they drop off a newer model loaner at your house when you need service and let their customers essentially do a test drive.

I'd much rather deal with the "soft sell" than a slimy car salesman breathing down my neck at the lot or during a test drive.

You’re sure right on that, I don’t wanna go there and when I think about the sales guys I could
I don’t like having people crawl up my a$$

They should have rotated your tires as part of 5,000 mile service
