    I have an 05 4 runner thats only got a few years left on the frame. Since I live up north rust is a big issue. Im looking to swap frames and I was wondering If there's any major difference between the 4x4 v6 and the 4x2 v6. I have a 4x4 v6. Would i be able to swap it with any of the 4th gen frames?

    You must use a 4x4 frame
    the 4x2 frame has a different trans cross member and no mounts for the front chunk and axle tubes.
