Same old recall, they just included a few more years.

I wish it applied to mine. I’d like to get a brand new fuel pump for free :(

I called my dealership they said I couldn’t schedule an appointment until Toyota made a resolution to the problem.

Oh wow. I wonder if that has anything to do with the age of yours vs mine. I called, confirmed my VIN and it was replaced about 10 days later.

    For a fuel pump?

I just entered the VIN on my 2018 and got "No Safety Recalls"

Did you enter your VIN here recently or a while ago?

I’ve been a part of this recall with my Tacoma being parked at the dealer for 7 months.
The 4Runner was always safe until they expanded it yesterday.
If all depends when your vehicle was built.
The added VINs are 4Runners built between May 2018-April 2019.
My VIN falls within that range.

    Got it!

    Thanks for the updated info.

What's interesting is that when they first did this recall, some 2018 4Runners (among others) were on the list..........then they took them off.

I guess they're putting them back on the list.

I guess this is another example of the difference between Toyota and GM. Every Chevy truck out there has either had it's fuel pump changed or needs to. And it ain't free.

Don't wanna start a new thread, this one seems perfect

    So, thought I'd share I keep getting emails about recalls that affect my 2016 4R; Block Heater, and Airbag;
Block heater I don't care cuz I'll likely never use it, but there's been claims it lights on fire :D
Airbag related recall I should prolly take care of, pretty sure metal may fly into ur face upon deployment!
