Hello all I’m new to this forum sry if this exact question has been asked but I really want a bigger lift as well as upgrades struts with coil overs but I don’t know where to go or what to get I have a limited but I am switching to a Trail bumper with the trd pro grille swap due to my bumper warping from and old shop as well as more clearance. I’m wanting a 6 inch lift no body lift or anything dumb, I mainly just use my runner to commute and occasionally go off-roading on my land or camping so nothing hard core. Just can’t seem to find what I need to get for a 6 inch with the KDSS anything helps thanks!

Limiteds don't have KDSS...they have XREAS.

A 6 inch lift on a 4runner is dumb, IMO.
I suggest doing a little more research into suspension.
Check this out, it’s for a tacoma, but still applies to the 4runner.

I thought that was only on the 4th gen Limited’s are you sure it is on the 5th gens too? After doing my 4inch lift for a KDSS I’m pretty sure I have KDSS but maybe I’m wrong

If your front swaybar doesn't attach to the front lower control arms like this:

Or doesn't look like this with the hydraulic cylinder in the circle:

    You don't have KDSS.

KDSS was never offered on Limited 4Rs.

If you got a Limited its not KDSS you got XREAS and from your avatar you have a Limited.

Only way to get 6" is with a kit I believe is with a Crossmember (or whatever they call it now Bracket...) lift. I'm sure someone has done it on a Limited but few and far between.
