Arrived on Aug 19th. How is it transported to East Coast? How long does it take?

Usually it goes on a train first and then loaded to a truck to the dealership. Right now its taking longer than usual.
Just to give you an idea mine hit port 7/23 and is still in transit to a dealership in Nebraska.

It will stay at Toyota’s port facility to have whatever options were selected installed. This is usually bolt-on stuff. Depending on the volume of vehicles coming through and the availability of the parts for the options, that will be the main determination of how long it’s there. For most of the trip across country it will be transported by rail. Once it’s within your region, it’s taken from the rail yard to be loaded onto a truck to be shipped the rest of the way to the dealer.

Some people have got extremely lucky and got theirs really quick. Most had to wait a while.

No additional added options. Only opted for Moonroof.

Yeah it took us about 6 weeks or so to get ours in Kentucky after it arrived at port in Portland. Just how things seem to be going.

If you have your vin number, you can enter it in on Toyota’s website to see what the truck left the factory with and what is being installed at the port. They add even the most minor of things to it at the port.

We got it from our salesman. We didn’t get it right away until we pressed them that our bank needed it so we could lock in our rate for financing.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was told my dealer the last week of August or the first week of September for mine to arrive at the dealer. So I'm hoping any day now

There is not unfortunately. The dealer can only check status as well. Here was my breakdown:
7/29 arrived at port (A status)
    8/3 showed up on website
8/18 switched to F (freight) status - 8/24 earliest estimated G (on the ground) date
8/24 listing removed from website, 1 hour later, call from dealer that it's in their possession.

I think someone had one arrive in Portland and get to Ohio and listed the timing. More details here for others:

Just bought one today! Says it arrived in Portland on 3/31. It’s going to KY for the dealership so not sure how long that will take. I think it has to go to Indiana first by rail and then be picked up by semi there and brought to the dealer. I hope it’s soon.
