    Hello,
Few months ago I installed the daystar kit (2.5/1.5), then changed my tires to 265/70 (which applied additional minor lift).
Since then, my front suspension making some ugly noises (like metal touching metal). Especially over bad roads and bumpers.
Took my vehicle to some shop and they recommended to replace front control arm and bushing. I'm living in Guatemala so not trust the shops here in 100%..
From your understanding, this kind of lifting is affecting the lower or upper front control arms? The front bushings are going pair for lower / upper?
Please, I'll appreciate some information so I can take care this issue. The front wheels are out of balance, the new tires are worn in a bad way and these metal noises makes me leave my windows close all time so I will not hear the ugly sound.
    Thanks experts!

If I had to guess, the noise is most likely the sway bar hitting the coil over since you didn't list as having done, but 4th gens need a sway bar relocation relocation to lift.

you need better pictures. You can’t see the UCA’s or the sway bar in this picture. Or a clear shot of the shock and sway bar.

    x2 on better pictures.

I assume you had to lower the LCA to install the daystar. If so, make sure the LCA is torqued down properly. This seems to cause a metal-to-metal clunk sound.

As others said, check to see if the sway bar is contacting. A relocate kit is cheap and will eliminate that as a possibility, but if you didn't get larger springs, it seems unlikely to me that this is the issue.

If you do replace the UCA, look into one of the aftermarket options (like JBA or SPC). If you go with an OEM style replacement, stay away from Dorman. I've regretted that decision on my own truck for far too long.
