    Hi everyone!

I just bought some Hercules Avalanche X-Treme LT265/75R16 tires. I read on some 4runner forums that they would fit on my old 4runner.

I had also bought 4 wheels (16 inches) from Toyota.

Sadly, today the mechanic told me that those wheels did not fit since the calipers are too big :( ?!

The wheels are scrapping with the calipers.

    My vehicule : 2007 4runner SR5 V8

Is there an easy/fast solution or do I have to wait for my ShrockWorks front bumper to arrive and the suspension adjustments that will follow its installation ?

Thank you for your recommendations ... and sorry for my English level.

    Emmanuel

16 inch rims will not work with your 4runner. You need 17 inch or bigger. Or you can replace your entire braking system.

This isn't a problem solved by suspension. You need 17" wheels minimum, regardless of lift. They are different things.

Thank for your responses guys. And @fajitas21, you are right for the suspension. I was just saying that if there is no way that I can fit those 16" wheels under my 2007 TFR, then I would have to wait for the next upgrade (bumpers + total chaos + kings ... or the like) to put big tires under it ... not those 16".

I'm just sorry that what I read on those forums did not work for me.

Can you return the tires and/or wheels?

The fact that you need 17" wheels doesn't mean you need larger tires, just tires with the same overall diameter that fit 17" wheels - 265/70-17.
