Hey I need help with tire options with my stock 2005 4runner. Can I fit 265/75 r17 if I put a 1.5” spacer lift just in the front? Or will I only be able to fit 265/70. I’m getting general grabber x3’s mud terrain

JMHO. I think its a big mistake to use tires that are not the exact same size as OEM. The ride will be "ugly" on highway and around town.

Don't you just love the sound of snow tires at 50 mph / 90 mph?
Or, the grinding of rubbing tires on a sharp left or right turn?

Oversize "fat" tires is the only WTG IMO!

You realize how much people run bigger than stock with none of the issues above right?

I leveled mine (roughly 2”) and put 265/70r17 Cooper Stt pro M/T (32s) , I had to remove the mud flaps in front.

Not sure what this stock only tire guy is so butt hurt at, you might as well have bought a mom van...even if the tires did rub at full deflection there’s easy ways to fix it.

Yeah I took my front mud flaps off already and then trimmed the back flush. Do you have a picture of your 4runner?

I wonder if there is a difference since I have a 2005. The boxy fenders vs your rounded off fenders.
