Anyone know how to remove these clips? I’m going to get all the tools laid out and try tackling this on Friday morning. I’m going to get it done just in time for Mother’s Day. Get some good brownie points!

Figured it out. You need needle nose pliers. Squeeze the inside tabs. Ugh!

At freeway speeds the drag it creates is less than the drag the air creates if it were to hit the front tires and under carriage. In air flow management chaotic air is worse than air pushed aside. It's for a similar reason why a pickup is more aerodynamic with the tail gate up compared to the tailgate down or even a net in place of the gate.

There is probably a Swiss watch making idiom along the lines of "a good pair of needle nose is worth 10 gold hammers".

Front is all done and torqued. It was the easiest install of any vehicle I’ve ever done. The coilovers just slid right in without loosening the LCA or anything else I had to do to the tundra, 5th gen, or GX. On the tundra I had my wife stand on the LCA to make enough room.

Drove it around town and the suspension feels really nice. Takes the same bumps better than the stocks.

Probably. I never really watched much of their vids unless there was a specific "Myth" I was interested in. Is it W/ limited gas in the tank??

The video is only 9 minutes long, might want to check it out. Not sure how gas would make a difference, a gallon of gas weighs 8 pounds so it would take 20-25 gallons to equate just one full sized adult. A pickup is rated to carry anywhere between 1200 to 7000 lbs.

I don’t remember that one. What was the myth they were testing? I think there was another truck one where they tested bed covers and tailgate nets.

If I recall correctly, there was one elusive clip where they ran a truck on a track for the tailgate mpg test before they made the one I linked, but for some reason it is not easy to find. I can't remember the conclusion of it but the result of it might have been an inconclusive one due to too many variables present.

here is one that Auotblog ran where they also concluded it is more efficient with the tailgate up

We are way off topic now so apologies to @captrussia253

For the 6th gen, where does everyone go to get an alignment or is the dealership the only one that can right now? I called discount tire and les Schwab and both said they can’t do the new gens yet?
